Abstract

In this reflection article, Mauricio Lazzarato’s approaches concerning the logics of difference and politics
of the event are recaptured, in order to emphasize its importance towards the left renewal in Colombia.
It is argued that instead of pointing towards a search of unity and political electoral success
in the process of left wing’s renewal in this country, it can be nourished with youth collective action
experiences, that since 2011 have deployed alternative forms of organization and relationships in which
communication, trust, collaboration and construction of the common have fulfilled a crucial role.
